Our Mission:

The Canada Industrial Relations Board's mandate is to contribute to and promote a harmonious industrial relations climate in the federally regulated sector through the impartial, effective and appropriate administration of the rules of conduct that govern labour and management in their representational and bargaining activities.

Our Vision:

• decisions on applications and complaints provided in a fair, expeditious and economical manner
• successful resolution of labour relations problems through appropriate dispute resolution mechanisms
• an involved and well-informed labour relations community
• effective Regulations and practices developed through consultation with clients
