Thomas Brady is a full-time member of the CIRB serving as an employer representative.
As a lawyer in private practice with Heenan Blaikie from 1984 to 2014, his practice focused on labour relations, human rights, and employment relations in the federally regulated sector. He represented employers before federal labour and human rights tribunals and in the Federal Court and Supreme Court. Mr. Brady is co-author of the legal text book Judicial Review in Labour Law and taught at the Queen’s University Faculty of Law.
He studied History at Loyola College, Queen’s University and Duke University and has an LL.B. from Queen’s University.
